Christmas 2008

We have had a great Christmas break!! Dave and Melissa came down from up North on Christmas Eve. We have had lots of fun hanging out with family, staying up late and eating way too much!!

We took the kids up onto the Dixie hill. Chris had to work so he was missed. I was a nervous wreck the whole time while we were on top of the hill. Heights freak me out a bit when it comes to my kids. We still had a lot of fun. It was a gorgeous day and we took lots of pictures.

Dave's Birthday was on Dec. 30. He turned the big 32!! Happy Birthday!!

These are all our sweet Santa pics that I could find. The one from 2004 I had to steal from an ornament hanging on the tree, thats why its kinda choppy looking. I am pretty sure I have gotten them done every year since Weston was born. Ever since Cades 2nd Christmas, I have HAD TO sit on Santa's lap because there is always a kid who is not feeling the jolliness of Old St. Nick. Don't worry, I make sure to tell him what I want for Christmas too!!

Chocoholic in the making!!

No, I am not feeding my 4 month old chocolate cake....yet. She is genetically destined to be addicted to it so we will hold off on that as long as possible. I made a yummy chocolate cake tonight and sliced a piece for all three boys while Cohlee was in the living room laying on the floor. After the boys finished and I cleaned up the mess I went in to check on her. I found her with chocolate all over her face!! Hmmmm...did she sneak some? No, her big brother Cade likes to kiss her all over her face no matter what is on his face! And yes, my little princess has lost a TON of hair. I don't want to talk about it.

So I got a call this morning (along with the rest of St. George) saying NO SCHOOL!!! Its Westons absolute dream come true!! His Uncles have been dying to teach him to snowboard so they thought this was the perfect chance to give him a taste of it. I have a little hill on the side of my house that worked great. Weston and Cade both loved it.

Lindsay and I have been BFF's forever!! I first met her when we were in 6th grade at Woodward. She was one of the most popular girls in school and I was dying to be friends with her!! Ha Ha! My plan totally worked and 17 years later she is still stuck with me! I love this girl more than she knows and I am so grateful that we have remained so close through all these years! She is seriously the perfect friend (besides the whole Idaho thing) and I don't know what I would do with out her. I have learned so much from her and continue to everyday! I love ya Linds!

Happy Birthday!!

This is a little shout out to mi madre!! Happy birthday! My mom is the best. People are always shocked to find out how cute and young my mom is. Either I look really old for my age (25, ha ha), or she looks really young for her age. I am going with the latter to make myself feel better. I am sure that pretty soon, people are going to start asking if she is my younger sister. She is a great mom, grandma, and friend! Thanks for putting up with me for all these years!!

Also, I finally figured out how to scan pictures onto my computer. I have so many old pictures from high school that I am dying to scan in. You should all be afraid, be very afraid!!

I'm doing it!!

I have decided to jump on the band wagon and go private!! When I first started this blog, I didn't really get that you shouldn't put your first and last names, the city you live in, etc. Well, now over a year into it, I don't feel like going through my blog and deleting the information I am wishing to keep private. The main reason that I am really blogging is to keep a record so maybe one day, my kids can look back and I won't feel so guilty for slacking on scrappbooking! Another thing I love about blogging is the whole mommy blogging world. Its nice to be able to keep up with what is going on in everyone elses crazy lives. I feel like I have rekindled a lot of old freindships through blogging and I look forward to making more!! OK, no more cheeseball!

I will probably be doing it in the next few weeks. So if I don't have your email you better leave me a comment with your email. I know some of you don't have blogs, but are close friends and family and check my blog out sometimes. Just send me your email and you should still be able to view it. Cohlee in her Jumperoo

Cohlee loves her new Jumperoo! I put a thick rug under it because her legs don't quite reach all the way. She gets so excited and jumps up and down with a big smile on her face! She is normally even crazier in it but of course when I get the camera out she calms down. Go figure!I got the jumperoo from Walmart.com a few weeks ago for $65!! It was being sold on Target.com for $89. Thats what I call a deal! Did I mention I only paid .97 cents for shipping to my house!

4 months old!

Cohlee is now 4 months old! How time flies! She weighs 14 lbs, 3 oz. She is 25 1/2 inches long. So that puts her 70% for weight, and 90% for height. She doesn't get that from me! She is a very happy girl. She likes to talk A LOT! When she wakes up to eat at night, she doesn't cry. She lays in her crib talking to herself. It is so funny! Here she is showing off her bling. One of her stud earrings fell out of her ear on the weekend. I could not find it anywhere and I didn't want her hole to start to close up. The only earrings I had (besides dangley ones) was my diamond earrings. So she is wearing them until I can get to the store to buy her some new earrings. You can tell by the picture she is loving it..ha ha!

Thanksgiving 2008

This Thanksgiving we were lucky to have lots of family around. Chris's mom was able to fly in from Texas. It was great to spend time with her. We had a large group so we ended up going to good ol' Chuck a Rama! Chris's mom got there an hour before it opened and waited in line outside. She is the best. My mom also did a super yummy dinner later on in the day. It was a great Thanksgiving!

We finally got our cute baby blessed! We did it the day after Thanksgiving. It was a good time to do it because Chris's family was in town. Chris gave the blessing and he did a great job.





I would also like to say thanks to my friend Kelsi! She makes the cutest hair accesories ever! I took Cohlees dress to her house to get a headband made. She whipped it up in 2 minutes!! It turned out so cute! She will come to your house and do a bow party too! Visit her blog here!

Halloween 2008

Better late than never, right? Halloween was way fun!! Weston was a storm trooper guy from Star Wars, Cade was Batman, Tanner was a skeleton pirate, and Cohlee was the cutest butterfly ever!! We downloaded scarey music onto our ipod and hooked it up to the Rhino. It was fun to go trick or treating with the scarey music blasting from the speakers.
