Our little man turned 3 today! We had a little bday party at Grandma Pam's house last night. We got him a cool new truck! He is the awesomest kid on the street now! Grandma got him a digital camera. I guess she got it for a great deal cuz she got Cade one too! Spoiled? Yes. At the end of the night Tanner brought his camera to me and said it wasn't working. I looked at it and it said the memory was full. He had taken 400 pictures! I am sure I will be posting their photography skills soon! Tanner is such a fun kid! He is a total goof ball. He is always pulling the funniest faces. He has really seemed to have become a big boy this year! He has his dad wrapped around his finger! He loves playing with his brothers and his sister. He is a very smart kid. He is always counting stuff; not always in the right order, but thats ok! He lets you know exactly how he is feeling. He loves everyone. He gets to start gymnastics now and he is so excited! We love you so much dude! You make me laugh every day!

Popsicle Season is in full swing here at our house! I think we will end up going through the big Costco box within a week! If I let them, they would have about 20 each per day (I don't)! There is nothing better than a popsicle on a sweltering hot day!

How does your garden grow?

We decided that we would try doing a garden this year. We have these three different levels on the side of my house that are filled with rocks. We thought maybe the rocks would keep the weeds out so we left them where they were and planted the garden in the rocks. My mom came over (I was really sick that day, darn) and had the boys help her plant the garden. I didn't post it cuz I thought it would jinx the garden. Well, some of them are still alive! There have only been a few weeds. We go out there every day and water it. At first it was a pain, but once the stuff started growing, it is fun! We (I mean they) planted zucchini, strawberries, squash, tomatoes and cantelope. All but one of the zucchini plants died. The strawberries are doing great! Cade is the only one besides me that has been eating them. We haven't seen a tomatoe yet, but the plants look healthy. No sign of a cantelope yet and the squash is looking good! We are going to be eating the zuchinni tonight for dinner. For some reason there is only one that is big. I think it is taking all the nutrients for itself. Maybe now that we have picked it, the rest will grow.

WooHoo! Weston had perfect attendence and no tardy's this year! {Thank you, Thank you very much!} I am really so proud of him! He did so good this school year. He scored way above average on his testing! He is such a smart kid. He loves school most of the time. He says he is a little sad that school is out for the summer!!! Where does this kid come from?

For some reason Weston thinks that the middle of the living room is a great place to play his DS. Well, on the floor, that is Cohlee territory. Usually when she is crawling all over him he just tells her to go away. This day, he says "Mom why does she crawl all over me when I am trying to play my game?" I told him "Because she loves you so much". He says "Its a little too much love!" I thought it was so cute! Don't mind Cohlee's sweet hairdo and lack of clothes. It was only noon, so we hadn't gotten ready yet.

I am a couple weeks late on posting Cohlee's newest tricks! She is now pulling herself up to stand and I can sometimes get her to wave! As you can see in the bottom picture, she is doing both at the same time! She loves food (just like her mom) and hasn't really been picky about what she eats (fingers crossed)!!

Makiah Skinner

Diana had her baby girl this morning. Makiah weighed 7 lbs, 1oz and 19 1/2 inches long. She has a head full of hair and she is gorgeous! I am so excited for you guys!

A surprise for me!

Happy Mothers Day to all the great moms I know! Especially my mom and Chris's mom! They are both two great women! Love ya!
Chris and I have never been very good about giving each other gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, mothers day, fathers day, etc. So when he asked me last week what I wanted for Mothers day, I told him a new camera. He knew my brothers camera I had been borrowing for the last year just broke and that I already ordered a replacement for my brother. So the last thing I thought he would do is actually buy me a new camera!! He did and it was actually a surprise! Its not the typical point and shoot. I am excited to learn how to use it. I am clueless right now. So if anyone has any good advice, websites or whatever, please share!

Today, my day started off great! At 8 o'clock, Weston and I headed off to his school for "Moms and Muffins". It was nice to have it be just Weston and I. I think I need to do that more often. When we were walking down the hall, I went to grab Weston's hand, and he got embarrassed and he wouldn't hold my hand! I never thought I would see the day that Weston was embarrassed to show affection. He is my most affectionate child! I am hoping it was just a fluke! Then right after that I headed to Cade and Tanner's preschool for a Mothers Day Tea Party. I know, Tanner isn't even 3 and I have him in preschool!! He only goes once a week. He loves it! He comes home with paint (washable) all over him. He gets to hang out with his big brother.They sing songs, play games and really, I just need a bit of a break for three hours once a week! It is the best. At the Tea Party, they were so cute. They did a little program so Cade took Tanners hand and walked over to where they were supposed to sit. When it was Cade's turn to go to the front and speak into the microphone, he kept hold of Tanners hand and brought him up with him. Cade takes such good care of his little brother! I only got one picture from each event cuz my camera is broken and I had to use my phone. That's why the last couple posts the pictures aren't the best. How did my camera break? Tanner. The worst thing is that it wasn't even my camera. It was my little brothers. He has let me borrow it for the last year cuz my other camera broke. How? Tanner. You would think I would learn!

Coolin' off!

Today it hit 100 degrees here in St. George! It felt so hot. We decided to hit the Summit pool to cool off! It was Cohlee's first time getting into a pool and she loved it! The picture doesn't look like she was lovin it, but you all know how the Palmer kids are when the camera comes out!
